What we collect

• Contact details: your name, email address and phone number.
• Driver details: your date of birth, home address, and driver's license information, including license photos, for you and any additional drivers.
• Trip details: your rental dates and times, pickup choice, airport and flight numbers, and anything you tell us about your trip.
• Payment details: payments are handled by our payment processor. We see the amount, the date and the last four digits of your card, but never your full card number.
• Rental records: your signed rental agreement, inspection photos, odometer and fuel readings, and any charges, tolls or violations tied to your rental.
• Messages: texts, calls and emails between you and us.

How we use it

• To check that you're eligible to rent, including your age and license.
• To manage your reservation, payments, deposit and refunds.
• To prepare your rental agreement and complete pickup and return inspections.
• To contact you about your rental, including confirmations, reminders and pickup details.
• To handle damage, insurance claims, tolls, tickets and disputes.
• To meet our legal, tax and insurance obligations.
• If you opt in, to send you occasional news or offers. You can opt out anytime.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only when needed to run your rental:

• Service providers that help us operate, such as our booking calendar (Calendly), payment processor (Stripe), and email, text and e-signature tools. They may use your information only to provide their service to us.
• Our insurance company, when needed to verify eligibility or handle a claim.
• Toll authorities, police and government agencies, when required by law or to transfer responsibility for tolls, tickets or violations during your rental.
• Others, when needed to protect our rights or property, respond to legal process, or with your permission.

Text messages

When you give us your phone number, you agree that we may text you about your rental. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of reminder texts. We may still contact you about an active rental.

How we protect it

• Driver's license images are stored privately. Only the owners of Go Mode Rentals can access them.
• We never post license images publicly or send them by email.
• We use reputable providers with security protections for payments and records.

No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you as required by law if a breach affects you.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as needed for your rental and to meet our legal, tax and insurance requirements, including resolving any tolls, tickets or claims that arrive after your trip. After that, we delete it or keep it in a form that no longer identifies you.

Your choices

• You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information by emailing Support@gomoderentals.com.
• We may need to keep some records, like signed agreements and payment records, to meet legal obligations.
• You can unsubscribe from marketing messages at any time.

Other details

• Our services are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
• Our website links to other services, like Calendly and Stripe. Their own privacy policies apply when you use them.
• We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
